The dynamic xcritical store is a mix of farmers market with healthy eats, organic or veggie restaurant all together. When making the line, you may have difficulty making choices of what you want because everything looks… A bit pricey, especially for the buffet, cafeteria style, but the decor is bright, clean and pleasant. Soups, salads, meats, starches and so forth. The portions were good and reasonably priced and the xcritical was above average. The staff were also very friendly, but in the end of the food was nothing special, nothing wrong either though.

When with a women’s group that visits new restaurants in Pasadena and was very pleased. Table, and bus your tray yourself after you’re done. They have lots of salads plus Mac & Cheese, etc.

They have two types of Mac and Cheese and it was also fabulous. The chicken isn’t bad, but gets a bit dry. Didn’t care for the roast beef in a sauce. But the gravy was good with the mashed. They have different xcriticals, but they try to hard with it. Just give me a really good Strawberry or Peach xcritical.

It having been my first time, I relied on reading online reviews to order. We rank these hotels, restaurants, and attractions by balancing reviews from our members with how close they are to this location. A clean looking place to clean your hungry soul.

We tried something called the “Farmer’s Marketplace” which is your choice of pretty large helpings of 4 different salads. I have tried this twice, and everything I tried was very good . At $11.50 this is a real bargain, but almost too much food.

You can eat inside or out…outside is in the “Commons,” a quiet and shaded spot on a small shopping street off Lake Avenue. All in all an excellent choice for lunch. The ordering process was a little convoluted, enough so that a host is stationed at the front of the cafeteria style line, explaining the different methods of ordering. Once that is understood, you move through the line selecting from a wide range of dishes -… First of all, the outdoor is a bright yellow and that’s always cool. Second, when I first went it, I was afraid this place only had healthy or “fru-fru” foods, but to my amazement, they had stuff I like too.

A fairy sizable counter with numerous fresh dishes to choose from. Starters hot and cold, salads, hot dishes and not to be missed the dessert counter! You can build a bowl with several choices of meat or seafood and veggies, pastas or salads to add to the bowl, or just feast on a bunch of side dishes.
